You’re never alone. There are people out there that can relate and love to help and protect others. All you need to do is ask. lighf is a tool to connect but does not have the ability to help you ourselves. But luckily, the world is filled with good people that can fill in where lighf cannot. Find a list of proven organizations that are best suited to help you overcome the issue you are facing. If you can’t find the help you’re looking for here, please check lighf’s help section or as a last resort send lighf an SOS with a description of your issue.
And if you see something, say something! Report/flag a lighfStory or other piece of lighf if you see someone being mistreated or in possible harms way. To do that, Swipe Left on a lighfStory or other piece of life in the Waterfall (feed) OR Tap the More Options icon on a lighfStory’s screen to reveal reporting options.

Kids Help Phone (Visit Site) is a nationwide 24-hour, toll-free, confidential crisis line and counseling service available to Canadians under the age of twenty.

SAPTEL (Visit Site) is an independent care provider subsidized by the Mexican red cross. It can be reached at (55) 5259-8121. SAPTEL has been active since 2000. It is totally free and they are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Provides crisis dialogue or treatment for anything related to mental health crisis.
lighf doesn’t store your IP address or any other identifiable data about you. By default your layers (privacy) are to set to None but you can add additional layers.
Encrypted, means your email address is encrypted the second you create an account and only unencrypted, with your permission, at times when you need to recover your password. The draw back is you won’t be able to get lighf updates by email, only In-App and Push (coming soon).
To go Email-less means no email address is linked to your lighf Account. Like the Encrypted option, you won’t receive any updates by email, only In-App and Push (coming soon). The draw back is that you won’t be able to reset your password or lighfName (username) or recover your Account.
If you have something genuine to add to this piece of lighf, make an Addition to it. Additions are typically in the form of relatable statements, questions, or pieces of advice. Choose to add a relatable® statement , Advice or Question by tappingclicking one of the icon tabs to the right. Then enter your text. When new Additions are made the person that shared the piece of lighf, and anyone evolving it, will get notified.
Help ensure everyone in lighf is always kept safe and privacy kept in images and other media. Some things to remember:
Only upload images you own or have permission to use
Avoid uploading images with human faces or recognizable marks in them
If you do, make sure to blur out/cover any recognizable or personally identifiable markings such as tattoos, brand names, accessories, etc.
